Pumpkin Patch Partyland!
Last Thursday I was able to go with Alec and my niece Skylar on a Jelly Bean Junction (or as Alec often calls it, Belly Jean Dunction) field trip to a pumpkin patch. Sky and Alec enjoyed a tractor-trailer tour to view rows and rows of growing veggies, choosing a perfect pumpkin, slipping down giant haystack slides, riding on a cow and pig barrel train, playing in a corn kernel (in lieu of sand) box, and running around like crazy.
Alec is such a fun boy. His exuberance for life is unmatched and Brent aptly calls him a 'good celebrator'. His characteristic fist pump and exclamatory "YESSSS!" are my favorite. I chose between getting a pedicure for my sore marathon feet or going with him on his field trip. My toenail polish is peeling, my heels need scrubbing, my feet are still sore but my spirit is full. Time and energy well-spent.

What a fantastic mom. Great memories over pretty feet. You done good, girl!
Looks like you made the right choice, Rita. You can SEE the celebrating all over his face! So cute!
Alec is adorable! It looks like a great outing to the pumpkin patch. You captured some fun pics.
And you'll get that pedicure soon, Rita.
I love these pictures and these super cute kids!
Looks like the kids had a ton of fun! It was great to see you this weekend.
That Alec is quite the card, you gotta' love it, huh? Hey thanks for the laugh about race confusion-i've been dealing with that all my life!! Am I caucasion, am I native american, why not try hispanic!!! I'm going to be so embarrassed b/c I'll be the only gal who doesn't speak spanish. Hola doesn't help me much in the soccer field!!! I'll just have to show em my mad foot skills- and that is a universal language!! QQQ
