The one ticket I've ever had was OVER $700! Unbelievable, huh?! I was going 30 in a school zone, then couldn't find the license/registration in the glove compartment. The cop was on a major power trip. Anyway...I found the license/reg later and went in to see the judge about it and he laughed at the ticketing officer and had me just pay for the over-20-in-a-school-zone part.
But you can bet that our cars have a big envelope in the glove compartment with "LICENSE AND REGISTRATION" clearly written on it now! :)

I've never had a ticket but when/if I ever get one, I'll probably cry right then and there.

I ended the year with the same kind of ticket. I went to traffic school, actually my hubby came with me for date night. He got a ticket 5 days later.
