Wondering what to do?

What should you do if you wake up 1.5 hours earlier than you have to...
and your toes are freezing cold,
and your total hours of sleep is 1/2 of what your doctor chided you to get in before he'll listen to your "I'm tired all the time" complaint,
and it's snowing outside,
and it's BLOWING outside?

Here's a tip/suggestion/opinion. If even one of these conditions exist, and most especially, if they all coincide, DO NOT go running!

At least I shared this morning's misery with an equally crazy friend. You're a good sport, Kellie. Kyri was the brain today and sent me a warning text which I received too late. I should have taken her "Go back to bed," advice!

What were we thinking? I was even more stupid and decided to keep going after I left you? I sure hope the weather will get better?!

By definition, runners are stupid. So it was only LOGICAL to your runner's brain that you would go running under those circumstances.

Most runners have at least one of those conditions and they still get up and run. No wonder their non-running spouses can't figure them out.

You need a space heater. If my toes are cold and I can't warm up, it's either that or a warm bath.

I have never gone running in those conditions, Rita. You are amazing. Sorry to hear about your insomnia. I get like that when I can't get my to-do list and project ideas out of my brain. Slowing down and mellowing out can take some real work :-)

Sheesh -- thank heavens I had a legit excuse not to run -- being REALLY sick, or else I would had to admitted I'm a wuss, cause I wouldn't have ran in that weather!!! Good for you, or crazy for you, anyway!!!

Yeah, um...cold weather is one of the many reasons I avoid running as a hobby.
