First Gifts of the Season

Can you say, "Thought of EVERYTHING?" Even though Brent's mom and dad are on a mission in Peru their Christmas gifts to us were delivered before Thanksgiving. (Thanks, Melissa!) Here we are enjoying Beverly's forethought, hard work, creativity, and thoughtfulness. We each got a Christmas pillowcase. We already think of them and pray for them every day but this is a fun way to remember Grandma andGrandpa Z. so far away from us this year. We love you!!

I know I'm biased, but those are the cutest kids ever!!!

I'm so glad that I planned ahead, begged Beverly to make those pillow cases even though we were getting ready for our mission, and gave her a big kiss for doing all that work.

NOT.

Actually, I complained the whole time, telling her it was way to much work and she didn't have time to do it.

I have since repented. Seeing my beautiful grandkids on their Christmas pillows made it all worth it.

Those are the best type of gifts in my opionion. Honestly, I love home made grandparent gifts like that. My boys still have blankets with their names on them that my mom made them years ago. Its so touching to know that the kids grandma made all those pillow cases with her own hands and with so much love . . . even with the time crunch of preparing for a mission. What a special grandma!! Hey! We both blogged about Christmas pillowcases. Fun. Did they come with the 'Twas the Night Before Christmas poem variation?

They are impressive and thoughtful grandparents.
