Todd Turns Twelve Today

12 years of marveling at the first miracle in my life.
11 slides in the PowerPoint presentation of your District
prize-winning
Science project
.
10-ish bedtime. Waaaay too late!
9 items of clothing on your bedroom floor right now. Arrrgh!
8 years-old when you started consistently
beating me
at Mario Kart Double Dash.
7 days between your and Davion's
(best friend and cousin) birthdays
.
6 grades in school winning the hearts of all some
of your teachers
.
5-5K races run.
(I forgive you for sprinting past me at the end each time.)
4 years of piano lessons. Keep it up, Kid. Chicks dig musicians.
3 terms of perfect grades last year! WOW!!
2 siblings that want to be as cool as you are.
1 Great kid. I love you, Todd.

Rita, this is just so sweet! My son's 12th birthday is coming up in a few days and I am bummed that my baby has gotten so old. I love that kid more than words can express but you've done an amazing job with your little poem.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe that Todd is 12! Congratulations! What a great age! It seems like yesterday that he was saying he spelled his name "T-o-d-d-d-d-d-d-d". Happy Birthday! (Oh, and Happy Birthday to Davion if he or Suzanne read this!)
